Maleficent (2014)
A beautiful, pure-hearted young woman, Maleficent has an idyllic life growing up in a peaceable forest kingdom, until one day when an invading army threatens the harmony of the land. She rises to be the land's fiercest protector, but she ultimately suffers a ruthless betrayal – an act that begins to turn her heart into stone. Bent on revenge, Maleficent faces an epic battle with the invading King's successor and, as a result, places a curse upon his newborn infant Aurora. rorschachabout 10 yearsThe original Maleficent character is a classic to enjoy. But this film was just terrible, it doesnt give you what you actually want from her, which is the actual Maleficent!!!

Maleficent takes a magnificent twist on the traditional tale of Sleeping Beauty, & tells what truly took place. A fairy of the moors, Maleficent meets a young boy named Stefan, an orphaned boy who dreams of living in the royal castle. As children, they grew together, learning about each others' worlds. However, Stefan no longer visits, leaving Maleficent alone to acquire the role of Protector of the Moors. All is well until Maleficent discovers that greed is a sin of Mankind. After she has a short encounter with the royal army, Stefan decides that a chance to proceed to the throne cannot be left unattended. Devising a plan, Stefan uses Maleficent's trust as an advantage, & alleviates the source of her power - her wings. Awakening to find herself without wings, Maleficent is enraged, & vows for her loss to be permanently avenged.
