The book "Looking for Alaska" by John Green was a very well written book. I heard about the book and thought I should read it. The main character Miles "Pudge" moves to a new school where he meets some of his best friends, including Alaska Young, the girl that would change his life. Pudge and his friends pull pranks in hopes to mess with a group called the "Weekday Warriors". In the midst of it all Pudge falls for Alaska. Everything seems too good to be true, and Pudge was right.
The most exciting part is when they pull the big prank! My connection is having fun! They all try to look on the bright side and enjoy their days.
My favorite passage of the book is "At some point, you just have to pull off the band-aid it hurts but then its over and you're relieved." This is such a simple sentence with so much meaning behind it. It could be placed in any situation like getting hurt and having to face the pain because after everything it will be better.
I definitely recommend this book if you enjoy thrills, romance, and mystery!
