Thor's hammer is special because it can only be lifted by someone 'worthy,' AKA the superhero himself. Alan Pan built a real-life Thor hammer by packing the hammer shell with an electromagnetic magnet obtained from a microwave. He is the only one able to lift it because it has a fingerprint sensor that only works with his print.

Thors hammer is 1. awesome and 2. brilliant if I was one of the people I would of realized it was controlled by him because no one else could lift it and because it was on a metal surface

Thor's hammer is special because It is made out of magnets and when he made a video of him making it it got 12 million in just 5 days. Alan Pan built this hammer out of magnets and covered it with this stuff the looks like metal. Because he put the magnet hammer on metal and he put this button on it to make the magnet stop attaching and covered the button with fake armor and nobody nose about that button only he does.

Alan is the only one able to lift it because there is a finger print, if Alan puts his thumb on the finger print, it lets him lift it up. It's like a phone where your password is your finger.
