Clary has been different all her life. She has seen vampires, warlocks, faeries, and much more... not that she ever knew that until she met the Shadowhunters. Clary's life finally makes sense when Jace, Isabelle, and Alec tell her that she is one of them, she is a Shadowhunter. I was drawn to the book with every word as Clary started her new life while trying to find her lost mother, but can she handle the bitter truth she will discover? Recommended for 6th graders and up, this book will leave you stunned and craving for more.About 4 years agoaly_spoon675 has read this book.

Cassandra Clare does it again with the sequel to Lady Midnight, once again, it kept with the pattern of breaking my heart after reading it. This time around, both Julian and Emma are trying to keep their secret a secret as they deal with new government which threatens not only them but their family. On top of all this they are on a rescue mission in faerie, the worst place for a Shadowhunter to be. Emerge yourself in the Shadowhunter universe as you’re glued to each page with suspense! Recommended for pre-teens and teens, I promise you this book will leave you amazed!!!About 4 years agoaly_spoon675 has read this book.

National Geographic always has such interesting and informative books, and these ones have a little bit of everything! It will be exciting to see the newest installment in their collection of almanacs.Over 4 years agowatercolrwonder added a book review.
This has been one of my favorite books for years. It's a beautiful story in a futuristic but not-so-unbelievable world where everyone is the same and no one has any choices. The past is not remembered, except by the Giver. He holds the memories of the past for the whole town, the whole world. But his time is fading and the town will have a new Giver: Jonas. But can Jonas handle the weight of all the world?Over 4 years agowatercolrwonder has joined a reading program.
