I've observed that my fish go to sleep after the tank lights automatically turn off every night. They'll swim under the tree trunk and just stay there, not moving at all. Same with the freshwater snails. They curl up inside their shells until morning. Some of my neon tetras are late sleepers- during the weekends after breakfast at 8 and 9 am they're still sleeping.
