This movie is so sad!!!!! I was sobbing and sobbing by the time it was done. The girl is so hopeful and has so many hardships already but then in the end she looses everything and everyone who is important to her. A little while after watching this my stomach was hurting and at first I thought it was because I was crying so hard but then I found out I had the flue but still I was crying so hard. This movie is so so sad!

this is a story of a girl who finds her way during the Hitler times. smart, and original I highly recommend it.
It was a really great story. The movie was very detailed and made me want to read the book. It kept me on edge. Although the ending was kind of sad, it was still really good.

I have been waiting to see this movie for a long time and i finally watched it. I don't recommend anyone to let their six year old see this. It is appropriate- don't get me wrong- but it is a bit intense. Also extremely sad. <3
This movie was very excellent, on the other hand it was extremely sad. It is about a girl named Leisel who lives in Germany in the time Hitler was a dictator. It shows all the tough times people had in Germany at this time. I recommend this movie for ages 10 and up and also for people who want to see a sad but touching movie. :)
This movie was incredibly moving and touching. I have never really experienced such an emotional film before. While being quite sad, it is an extremely good movie. It's all about a girl called Leisel who loves to read and dearly misses her brother when he died on the train to her amazing journey... I REALLY recommend this movie in all ages up from 10. Younger viewers might find some scenes scary.
