Strange Magic. There were so many things about this movie, I don't even know where to begin. It was a really fun and entertaining movie, that's perfect for all ages. Most animated movies are usually for younger children and teens, but this movie appeals to even adults. If you liked the animated movie, Epic, you'll love this one because it incorporated the same themes and symbols like nature, love, fairies, magic, animals, friendship, importance of family, and other things, into the plot line. I personally thought that the Strange Magic animation was exceptional and the entire movie was extremely well made. The characters were fresh and exciting looking, instead of being another cliche animated character. Unlike Epic, there was a lot of singing. For some, this isn't a selling point, but I actually enjoyed the singing. Instead of original songs, there were many different songs from many years ago to the present. This is another reason why parents and children alike will enjoy this movie; adults will recognize and enjoy some older songs, and there are also songs kids can sing along to. For example, in one scene the main character, Marianne, began singing "Stronger" by Kelly Clarkson. I thought this part was very cool. In addition to LOVE, a strong theme running through the movie was FAMILY AND FRIENDSHIP. Similarly to Frozen, the two main characters were two sisters, one a princess, and one soon-to-be queen. The plot line was about a sister going to save her sister. Another theme, was to never judge a person by their looks. Just like Marianne, the main character, found, you have to looks past appearance. The ending wasn't all too surprising, but it was very different to any other animated movie, because everyone - the villain and hero - got a happy ending.
