Amazing. Epic and thrilling with references and Easter eggs. The characters are deep, and the dystopian future is beautifully tied in with the exciting plot, and amazing graphics in the virtual reality world. The plot, conflicts, and everything about this movie was fantastically filmed. My whole family can agree; this is one of the best movies we have ever watched.

I watched this with my dad over spring break, and it was pretty awesome. From the CGI to the plot, and of course the actors this movie had everything (literally). The thrills and suspense kept you on the edge of your seat for the entire movie. I would call it almost like a tribute to the 1980's because there were so many easter egg type jokes from the games played and the characters (the DeLorean, and The Iron Giant, and The Shining) . I haven't read the book yet so I can't say if the adaptation from book-movie was good but the book like usual was better. I gave this movie five stars (popcorn) because it was really cool how Spielberg incorporated the 80's into the movie with the music and everything in between. I recommend this for ages 13+ (or die-hard 80's fans) because there were a lot of topics that younger kids might not get such as the 80's easter eggs and violent scenes. Happy trails! I think that ready player one is AMAZING!!!!!!!!! It is a little mix of every thing!!! It talks about this place called the oasis. My favorit scarey part iswhen they show 2 parts of a very very very scarey movie called THE SHINING. My favorite charecters are Samantha, the main charecter ( I for get his name), H, and his firends ! I reccomend this movie too any body who likes mystery and video games because its about teen agers who are in this video game and trying to get cluse from the oasis creater and find 3 keys to have complet control of the oasis!!!!
