This movie may not be entirely lined up with the books, but it still is amazing. The haunting mystery of three gifted orphans' parents begins to unravel through out the movie very nicely. Of course, there are 13 books in the series. One cannot ask a director to smash all that into 2 hours. So, here's a thumb's up to the movie. P.S. don't expect to watch the happiest little elf in this movie.
